Changes around the World

As you all might have noticed, there has been quite a number of changes on World that's been happening the past couple of months.

World has always been a community for the developers to find documentations, share blogs, and join discussions in forums. However, we wanted to expand this community to include more than just developers, we wanted to include others who seek the technical knowledge and information to help excel in their role, as well as their own personal skillset. You might think, "Who else besides developers need to know the technical details of a product?" And by developers, we're all probably thinking about Front End, Back End, Web Developer, Full Stack, Angular/Reach/Vue Developer, and Mobile App Developers just to name a few. Beyond developers, there are many other roles in the different organizations that would require these information, such as the following loosely grouped roles:

  • IT/Digital
    • Solution Delivery Manager, Infrastructure Engineers, Platform Engineers, Security, Product Owners
  • Architects
    • Solutions Architect, Systems Architects
  • Advocates
  • Strategist
  • Leads
    • Technical Directors, Creative Technologist, Team Leads
  • Executives
    • CTO, CIO, CISO, CPO

There are a lot of roles involves with a typical SaaS Customer Journey: Awareness, Research, Decision, Engagement, Advocate. Each of them requiring different types of information while considering on different kinds of concerns before making a decision. And to help with that, we want to make World into a platform, a community, for all to come and find answers for anything technical.

The timing of this change couldn't come any better, as we rebrand ourselves as Optimizely and officially launch our new site on August 2nd.

The new World has been designed and restructured to bring you new content, new updates, and the resources you need. Highlighting a few pages that has either been updated or newly created:

We are continuosly working on bringing you more content, more updates, and more resources. All feedbacks and requests are welcome, please don't hesitate to reach out.

In the meantime, we hope that you will continue to be a part of our growing community. Bring along your acquintance, fellow colleagues, and friends. Participate, learn, and share.
