Hotspots

I tried to search the forum, but found no answers to this question.

In Episerver, are there any possibility of using "hotspots" - like in DreamWeaver?

I have a picture and want certain spots in this picture to be linkable(to different URLs).

In case this is not possible in EPIserver, are there anyone who knows another way to do this?

Thank you for any help on this...

Hi,

What we did was to make a pagetype that holds an image and then have childpages of that with the coorinates as a custom property so that one can choose between circle, rectangular and polygonal when loading the parent page with the image then all child elements gets build into hotspots.
This was on 4.6x in CMS5 this could be changed into a dynamic content control so that the map can be inserted into any page.

This is a real disadvantage of EPi-server! I suggest:

  1. Make your hotspots in DreamWeaver and copy the code into your EPi-page.
  2. Or buy Image Vault.
