Safe to move mediafiles in the CMS?
Yes :) Everything is referenced by permanent links, which won't change if you move the files around.

Just want to exten Johan's answer a bit:
- As long as you keep the blobs folder structure (folders/files names) and then update <appData basePath ...> in EPiServer.Framework section, you're good to go.
The information about files are stored as relative (by the basePath) and permanent guid (as the folder/files names) so the path to the media file won't change.

Hi,
We have a lot of media files (pdf, images etc.) not structured at all in EpiServer CMS 7.5.
My question is if its safe to move the media files around to different folders without creating broken links? Will the path to the media file get updated?
