How to change master language?

Vote:

Hi,

I have one specific question regarding master languages.

Our customer entered all content in "FI" language but stayed in "EN" language branch.

Now we have to fix this issue by changing master language to "FI" for all content.

What is the quick and right way to do it?

Can we just update EPiServer table "tblContent" and change "fkMasterLanguageBranchID" field?

Are all content created this way or only some?

All content is on Finnish language but has master language "EN".

Then it's much easier to do the switcharoo among the languages according to Fredrik Haglund's blog post http://blog.fredrikhaglund.se/blog/2007/12/04/episerver-globalization-and-dynamic-properties/.

This works if all content are created in language 1, but was supposed to be created in language 2.

Note that there should be no other content created in language 1 except for the content to be "moved" to the new language.

Also there should be no language created in language 2 that should stay in language 2.

I tried, but new forum behaves strange in my chrome :).

Later I tried to do this in other browsers but behaivior is the same - when I click on "Mark as an answer" it just creates a new post.
