Hi

I'm upgrading CMS 7.1 to 7.5. After executing the upgrade, updating the Episerver nugets and fixing the errors, I get the site running. But when I try to connect with the Migration tool I get following exception:

This method cannot be called during the application's pre-start initialization phase.

It's enterprise instance (11 sites, multiple languages), using NET 4.5 and ASP.NET MVC. Has anyone else encountered this error?

Ok, I figured out that Migration Tool is not compatible with WebApi!

Just comment out WebApi initialization and the tool will be able to connect.

// disable while performing the vpp migration
// GlobalConfiguration.Configure(WebApiConfig.ConfigureWebApi);
