What is needed to be able to drag & drop links inside content area?

Hi

Since I think the IFrameComponent is much easier to work with, I am wondering if I can adjust the html/js of the page to make the links draggable?

I want to list pages, and then drag a link into a content area. Simple as that :-)

Hi Freguz,

I think you need to elaborate a bit more about what you want to achieve here.

Compared to what is IFrameComponent much easier to work with?

What kind of links do you want to drag-n-drop? Why and where to?

Hi,

IFrameComponent is easier compared to the more complex dojo based component described here: http://world.episerver.com/Blogs/Linus-Ekstrom/Dates/2012/11/Creating-a-component-that-searches-for-content/

I want to drag a page (link) into a contentareea, standard contentitems.

The editor will be able to do a custom search in the right panel (assets panel), and from the list, just be able to drag-n-drop onto a content area.

So the question is actually about how to get links (content items) draggable, just like you do with blocks and pagelistings in the dojo panels...

Or is it not possible to do this?

Well I abandoned this idea and went the other route with a dojo based component instead. A little more complex setup but works like a charm.
