Office plugin for publishing - experiences and advice


Hey guys, I don't have much time to investigate the plugin and we have inquiries from the customer on whether it's recommended for them to use it. Basically they are asking if they should educate their editors to use edit mode or to publish from Word.

Probably we can't support all the things edit-mode supports with the Office add-on, how does it work with meta data, for example? There is probably no way to set up editorial classes, etc. I suppose this is meant for publishing specific page types - like a blog post or a news page?

I have the following questions:

1. Does it work with EPiServer 7.5 (7.9)?

2. Any culprits?
