Hi David. whilst a page is in workflow, if the user is an administrator, they need to be able to "update" the page, then approve and publish keeping the same version. Cheers, Paul

They can always reject the change then make the edits and publish the change immediately but this may not cover your needs?

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I had thought of that, it wont work for the solution were chasing. I'm thinking I will add a button to the publish menu that check out the page exclusively to the admin user and block the editors from being able to publish. I'll post the solution when complete as i'm sure others would require it too.
