Thanks - have you ever upgraded from 7.2 to 11.2 - is this possible?

Of cource it is possible and no, I have not updated any site to 11 yet since not all AddOn's we use support it yet.

But we have upgraded to late 10 fro 7.2.

How hard it is depends on how much special solutions you have in it, if it is quite plain then there should not be so much problem.

From 7.2 the hardes part is going up to 7.5 where the new file system was introduced, but Ted has written a good blog about that:
