When I export a page from Episerver CMS 6 which has a global block, the page is exported but it does not have the global block.

Can anyone please help me with this or share the steps that I can follow to export global blocks ?

Pranjal,

On the Export Data view, are you checking Export files that the pages link to?

Hi Bob,

I had selected the option to export files that the page links to, but its still not exporting the global blocks. Any other steps that I might be missing ?

Thanks,

Pranjal

@Pranjal are you sure about the version of CMS you are using, I think CMS 6 does not have blocks concept.

regarding your problem, I would guess you are using CMS 7 and I think you are missing the block type for the global blocks.

Hi Duke,

We had implemented composer blocks using PageTypeBuilder. However, I found the solution the the problem. There is a repository where all the composer blocks are stored. I had to migrate that repository and global blocks started appearing.

Thanks for your responses.
