Prevent autosave when validation fails

Hi,

I am using Episerver cms version 9 and using custom attribute validation. Validation works fine and i can see the error message but still the invalid content is being autosaved as draft.Is there any way to prevent autosaving when validation fails?

I have tried both attribute validation and page validation and observed the same behavior.

P.s. If validation succeeds, I want the content to be autosaved.
