Sharing Custom Storage To Another Service In Cloud

Hey,

Is that possible to share a custom storage used by an EPiServer solution (like a mongo storage), which is deployed to the DXP cloud, for another service in Azure via connection strings? 

Is that doable or some secutrity issues may appear?
