Issues When Cancelling Scheduled Publish (Commerce 11.4.1)

Vote:

Odd issue that I've been encountering when I cancel a scheduled publish of a catalog node (cms works fine). Here's the steps to reproduce:

Step 1
  a. Make a change to a catalog node . Then, schedule a publish for a later date.
  b. Future publish date is displayed in top right corner.

Step 2
Select " Remove Scheduling and Edit"

Step 3
  Select "Publish"

Step 4
  a. Message appears "The Publishing date is set to Tomorrow, 12:00 PM.
  b. Page appears published, but when viewed on the site, throws a 404 error.

Step 5
  a. In the settings tab of the category, you can see that the category has a published date of "Tomorrow, 12:00 PM" that has been held over from the previous scheduled publish and not updated to the current publish time when the publish was cancelled.

Workaround
If you change the published date to sometime in the past, the issue is fixed and the category displays as it should.

I think this is a bug, which we are working on. It will probably be fixed in an upcoming version (11.5.1 - which will require CMS 11)

Hi

Thanks for the bug report. We actually noticed this ourself just a week or two ago, and a fix is on the way. It will most likely not make the next release, which is Commerce 11.5.0, but it will be included in the one after that (so 11.5.1 or 11.6.0). If you want to track the bug the ID is COM-5863.
