Is it possible to make an Entity Object (Business foundation) read only?

I have a case where the customer wants a custom Entity Object related to Contacts to be read only, in the sence that an admin (from Commerce Manager) should be able to create new instances of the object but never be able to change or delete existing ones. Is this possible to achieve? and how?

Thanks for any input!

Unfortunately, no. The "Readonly" state of a BF object can be set by the permission requried for an user. However that only works for builtin BF objects like contacts or organizations.

Hi Malin, would it be an option to create different users/roles? I believe you can use the Permission For Functions feature in the CMS Admin panel and specify who has access for read/write actions in Commerce Manager.
