Hello,
Is it possible to add one or more fields to the "My Settings" form in edit-mode, to be able to edit any other personalized properties than the ones that are built-in?

You can build an extension for this purpose. See SDK for more information. Search for PluginArea.SidSettingsArea. This will be implemented as a new tab.
