Xforms and translating values

Hello. Is there a built in way to translate labels in the xforms today in Episerver? I've used the ControlsCreated event to change the values to their proper language titles. However, a question. Is there a simple way of knowing if the field is required or not through the xform webcontrol, because i'd like to add a * to the required fields?
