ExpandedItemTemplate in PageTree

I can't get the ExpandedItemTemplate/SelectedExpandedItemTemplate to work properly in PageTree.
Expanded (second level) items are always rendered as ItemTemplate or SelectedItemTemplate.
Is this a bug or a feature ;)

If I remember right there is a bug when you hava a page open under the last level shown in the PageTree then the last level vill not be treated as expanded even though that would be logical.
There used to be a PageTree control among the sample's but I couldn't find any more, well from that I think there was only a tiny change that was needed to correct that problem.
Dono if your problem is the same, but send a mail to the support and let us all know the answer!
