Trying to create new framework / template

Hi there, I've just been introduced to EPiServer and am trying to get my head round it. I've been looking at the book that is available (3_Developing_with_EPiServer_4_Basic_Insights.pdf) and implementing the basic framework and template as outlined 18-21 of the pdf. Having done this, I am going to edit mode and creating a new page. But, I do not see my new template in the list of pages! How do I create a new page based on my template? Thanks in advance :) Ben

You have to create a page type based on the template file before you can create actual pages based on it. You do this in the admin mode.
