MenuList vs. PageTree

I need to produce the following html in a vertical left-menu.


     
        Menuitem
        Selected Menuitem
        
            Menuitem
            Menuitem
            Menuitem
            Selected Menuitem
            Menuitem
        
        
        Menuitem
        Menuitem

Notice the nested unordered list (

). The problem is that i need the menu to accept at least six levels. - I would prefer "unlimited". I have tried using pagetree but that makes it impossible to do the inner . I have also tried using nested MenuList's, but the third level MenuList fails to find the parent (2nd MenuList as datasource). And the problem contiues the in all sub levels after the third. Please, i would appreciate any help on this. /Esben

Oups. I probably should add that im working on EPiServer 4.61. In CMS ((5.0) this should be possible with the Pagetree - i've heard.
