How to not expand children of Start page in edit-mode's ExplorerTree?

I've been trying to find a way to avoid the Start page-node to automatically be expanded in the explorer tree when entering edit mode, but i'm having a hard time coming up with a solution. Anybody who knows a way? I've tried with (among other things) in EditTree.aspx setting but with no luck... Any help would be appreciated! /Måns
