Issue with EpiServer 4.62

Vote:

I’m working on EpiServer 4.62 and I’ve got a multilingual website. In each page I have the

“display page in menus” (VisibileInMenu) property but when I navigate away from the default language, that

Property is disabled, so I can’t set the value that I need.

Does anybody know which is the problem...thank you very much in advance...

That is a global value, meaning it cannot be set on each language individually. If one language version of a page is hidden, all are.

I understand, so I mean, is there one way to solve this issue? This property is handled in this way also in the new version of EpiServer?    Because as I see now, if I hide a page in my default language I won't see that page in all the language of my website.

Nope, this is how it is, some properties are language independent, and cannot be changed. Same goes for sort index and some others.

To get around it, create different pages for different languages, and make sure they have no fallback or replacement languages.
