Programatically Start scheduller

Hi

I have an episerver scheduller which performs some task and is in a disabled state.(Not running)

Is there any API which can help me to run the existing EPiServer Scheduller programatically as a seperate task in the background.

OR

Is there any API which can allow me to set the start time of the existing scheduller programatically.

The ScheduledJob class in EPiServer.DataAbstraction allows you to start a specific job instance.
