In a site for one of our customers we are using EpiImage to scale images. A subset of these images reside in a restricted area, but the scaled versions are placed in the 'scaled' folder which is configured in the web.config through
and does not reside in the restricted area.
The subset of restricted images reside in several vpp folders. These folders have groups assigned to them which only have read access. It would be ideal if every restricted folder could have a sub-folder which would contain the scaled images, these sub-folders would in herit the parent access rights.
Is this possible, or are there any reasonable alternatives?
