Problem with query strings in internal links

Hi! We would like to be able to create links (in edit mode) to pages on the same web site using query strings. This is possible to do if we select "Page on another Web site" instead of "Page on this Web site" and write the whole URL (including server name). If we try to make a virtual path without the server name (for example "/Site-specific-functions/Profile-page/?user=hejhej") and then right click on the link and choose "Link Properties..." we are receiving an error message ("Site-specific-functions/Profile-page/?user=hejhej is not a valid virtual path"). Do we really need to use "Page on another Web site"? If that's the case, do we really need to write the complete URL including server name to be able to use "Link Properties..."? We're using CMS SP1. Thanks. /Erik Lidälv
