Find index not automatically updated when restricting page with Visitor Groups?

For a client we are building a site that uses Visitor Groups on the page level (not blocks). We have now found that Search/Find doesn't automatically reindex the page (or subpages) when we modify the restrictions or add a subpage to a previously restricted page.

We are using Find 13.4.3

Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?
