Anders Hattestad has made a tool for this.
If you get the current folder structure to it's new location you should be able to setup a native vpp provider pointint to this location. You then setup a new versioning VPP that should be the new location and use Anders tool.

Per - I'll take a look at that and see if it's something we can manage. Thanks very much for the information, it's very appreciated. - Ernest.
We're setting up a large site in CMS7, and I've beentasked with migrating the images from our previous non-EPi CMS to the new one.
I know that advance image upload would let me move more than one image at a time, but that's not especially helpful since many of the folders only hold a few images, and there are many folders.
The images are in several hundred folders, and we wish to preserve the folder structure.
Is there a way to ftp the images to a storage location in EPi and then run a script to put them into the database?
Could I add the records directly to the image table(s), with sequential GUIDs?
Suggestions?
