Best practise for live sites?

Hi,

I've almost completed my first EPiServer project and I was wondering how should the server setup look like live sites running EPiServer 7? I've read on EPiServer 5 that you should have the SQL DB on it's own server cause of the sites caching in memory.

Any tip's or guides you could contribute with? :)

It is all depending on your customer. Is it a heavy load website, small website and so on. But seperating DB, VPP and the front is a good example. Also seperating the CMS and the www of a website is common.
