According to Linus Ekströms reply to the thread http://world.episerver.com/Modules/Forum/Pages/Thread.aspx?id=72287&epslanguage=en this will be an option on the next release of EPiServer 7.

does anyone else find the defaulting to 'On Page Editing' clunky and annoying? I can understand Editors liking this, but as a developer i would rather it stay in 'Forms Editing' mode when i jump to another page in Edit view until i manually switch it back to On Page Editing rather than defaulting to it each time i change the page....
unless there is already someway of achieving this?
