Mirroring in epi 7 - page id

in epi 5 before setting episerver mirror we had to change some properties to diffent one
we used alot of page id has int ( not good and not be used at all)
we couldn't use PageRefence because it doesn't mirrion unpublish pages.
so we had to use url to page :(
i wanted to know if such limitaion in Mirroring 2 ??
