We are building a new intranet application using EPi7 and would like to hear episervers own instructions on how to best setup the development stations. We want local isolated working stations that can work offline, i.e. no shared folders or databases. It's a bit unclear to us what is intended to be checked in into TFS.
We have everything local now, but when someone uses an AddOnStore update the local db can get changed, the web.config, the AppData and the modulesbin. Only the web.config is checked in to tfs which we aren't really satisfied with since it requires the other devs to stay alert to these changes and first run the addonstore update themselves, then take get latest from tfs.
Have someone figured out how to best setup isolated dev stations? Is there some blog entry on this? (we haven't found any)
