Hosting in IIS7 a new site without having VPP folder

After having problems getting 5 to run on Vista and IIS7, I have installed the publictemplates site which runs fine now after tweaking.

However, I have the Visual Studio files for a project but the VPP folder is missing (presumed dead) and so I need to install the site but get many error messages.

How do I create a new VPP folder in EPiServer/Sites/VPP now?  I have all the page templates and can build in Visual Studio but am having problems in getting it running.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Basically I get a message saying

 ClassFactory not initialized.

I know it's something to do with web.config problems.
