Missing images

I`m trying to sett up a new solution based on the database and vpp folders from another site, but the images doesn`t work. I can see them in the file management, and add them to image properties but they don`t show.

I have changed the mapping to the physicalPath in the episerver.config to the  "new" folders. What could be wrong??

Is it only images that doesn't work? Or all files that are on the VPP?

Also, what OS is on the server you have now and what OS was on the server you copied the page from?

it seems that all files fail, even if I can see them in the file manager and add them to the different properties.

Both servers are windows 2003

What error message does IIS give when you try to access one of the files? Copy the file path and paste it in a new tab. If you don't see a detailed error message, turn custom errors off in web.config.

If you get a straight 404 error (not 404.3 or some other sub error) then it can't find the file and probably it is the vpp configuration that is incorrect.
