Hi! The Google Maps module, originally posted on r.ep.se (now labs.episerver.com) has been rewritten for EPiServer CMS 5 and is available on https://www.coderesort.com/p/epicode/wiki/WikiStart. For this module we have added a *.zip file which you can install using the EPiServer Manager as well as the option to check out the complete source. If you want to browse the code online, please visit https://www.coderesort.com/p/epicode/browser/Labs.EPiServer.GoogleMaps/5.x The repository is located at https://www.coderesort.com/svn/epicode/Labs.EPiServer.GoogleMaps/5x Wiki documentation, screenshots and video is available as well. Merry Christmas to all /Stein-Viggo on behalf of Mari Jørgensen

Hallo,

As far as I can see this module allows to show a map as a new page only. Is there any way to show my customized map on any existing page in EPiServer without much programming? Thanks a lot!

The module was originally a prototype for version 4 of EPiServer created by the Research team in Sweden (you can find the original post and code at http://r.ep.se/projects/Google-map-in-EPiServer/).

The module on EPiCode had been upgraded to CMS 5 R1.

When it comes to functionality the basis for the module is that you have one page (container) that shows child pages as pins. Information from the child page such as pictures, text links etc. will be displayed when the pin is pushed.

You can customize the module in order to be displayed inline text on an existing page like http://www.dagbladet.no/nyheter/2008/10/15/550353.html.

With R2 it is possible to make it as a dynamic content property and then you can insert to any page you like.
