Is it possible to use standard ObjectDataSource with PageList?
The object datasource returns a PageDataCollection.

No, PageList, NewsList, PageTree and MenuList does not support binding to a DataSource objects. The reason for this is that the exposed business object must be a PageData object which makes it impossible to support a generic DataSource class like the ObjectDataSource.
