DeletingPage event does not contain page deleted

If you press the "Empty Recycle bin" button the PageEventArg for the DeletingPage event only contains the PageLink to the recycle bin not to the page being deleted. However if you right click on a page in the recycle bin and delete it the PageEventArg contains the correct pagelink.  Can this really be correct?
