How can I create a public rss-feed from a intranet using forms-authentication?

Is the entire web site (ie site.com/) blocked for non-authenticated visitors? In that case you can add a location-tag to web.config specifying different authorization settings for a specific folder in which you host your feed. More information.

Yeah, I've tried this by adding the location-tag for the rssfeed.aspx file, but I'm still redirected to the login-page.
