Deployment to hosting environment
It's a very good idea to install an "empty" episerver web on the hosting environment using deployment center. This will set up the environment without you needing to configure everything manually.

Hi,
We have created a development/staging environment similar to the LIVE hosting environment.
To deploy the Relate+ website from local environment, we used the Visual Studio's publish website feature and the normal SQL Server database export.
Is this the normal way of doing deployments to any hosting environments? or do we need to run the Deployment Centre tool on the hosting server?
Please advise.
