Beeing able to create a internal link with relative url

In one site we are buildning for a customer we have a pretty complex routing where urls are not accually pointing to the page in EPiServer and we also present content on the site that are not stored inside EPiServer.
The customer would like to add a link to one of these "pages" and doing so with a relative url. It worked in CMS 6 R2 but in EPiServer 7.5 we can not save the link at all.
We would like the oppertunity to be able to create internal links that are not pointing to a page but to a relative url.
