Insert links - bookmarks in other pages

The current dialog for insert link provides an option for navigating bookmarks in the current page. We have requests for the same in other pages. Thomas Haug, Gazette

We have the same requirement, does anyone have a solution?

Just another voice of support for this idea - it would definetly be the #1 requested feature here.

Sorry for the late answer, I happened to see this thread today. This requested feature has now been forwarded to the Product Manager for EPiServer CMS.

Its been over a year since this feature has been forwarded to the Product Manager, and over 4 years since the original post. Its still not in EpiServer CMS6 R2. Does anyone know if it will be in v7?

Hi Tym!

This feature is not planned for the next release of EPiServer CMS. I know that we did a bug fix during the last year that makes it possible to store links to other pages including hash tags but there is no support in the user interface to select bookmarks for other pages.

For your information it might be good to know that this is no trivial feature to acomplish since we currently do not store the available bookmarks for each page. Not saying it can't be done, just that it's not a trivial task and takes some time to acomplish.

Tym,

If you still need this feature in 6R2, I wrote a post about it a few weeks ago. Developed something similar for a client and tweaked it a bit.
