Better failure description when uploading image

If something goes wrong when I upload a file in the Media Panel, all I see is the text "Failed". For example when I try to upload a file with an extension not associated to any Content Type?

Wouldn't it be good if I was able to see the details of the failure? For example a button or link that displays why I couldn't upload the image.
