Automatically publish media on upload and Content Approval

We have a lot of editors (600+) and are using the setting "Automatically publish media on upload" so all the editors can just upload media and then use it straight away, they newer edit media.
Now we want to use the Content Approval flow on blocks, but this also adds the Content Approval flow on the media in the same folders. this will lead to a lot of confusion because you can not see that the media is not published without going in to edit that media and nobody does that.
I would like the possibility to disable Content Approval flow for media, either globally or on the setup of each Content Approval flow.

You could try and use the approvals events as described here: https://world.episerver.com/documentation/developer-guides/CMS/Content/content-approvals/working-with-content-approvals/#Hookingupevents and here: https://world.episerver.com/documentation/Class-library/?documentId=cms/10/15F5206C

Perhaps automatically approve the flow and publish the media if the content type is media?
