Running EPiServer on 64-bit Windows

Vote:

Has anyone installed EPiServer on 64-bit Windows in WOW64 mode (AMD64 or Intel EM64T hardware)? The full 4 GB process memory space made available to 32-bit applications running on WOW64 will make ASP.NET significantly more stable, according to Microsoft. The vast majority of 32-bit ASP.NET-applications should run flawlessly on WOW64, but it would be nice to hear from someone who has actually tried it out!

Thanks for the info! I'm curious though, did you follow all the instructions on configuring WOW64 on IIS 6 SP1 carefully? For instance: Windows Server 2003 SP1 enables WOW64 compatibility for 32-bit Web applications in IIS 6.0 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/895976 Changes to HTTP API in Windows Server 2003 SP1 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A3DA3D7F-18C7-45CE-A47A-ED747DACEF34&displaylang=en Inside Microsoft.com - Making the Move to x64 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/technetmag/issues/2006/01/InsideMSCOM/default.aspx

Yes, I did, very carefully. But, as described in the other thread, EPiServer runs just fine. The only issue is with this date thing... and it only appears when importing anything.
