I have installed office 2003 and episerver 5.1 trial version. I am not seeing any Episerver button on the toolbar. Is there any thing to be done after installing Episerver to enable editing through MS Word 2003.
Yes, you'll have to give access to this function for the groups or users that should be able to use the function. To do this, go to the Config tab in Admin mode, and then select Permissions for Functions under Security.
Also, you'll have to install a client software on the computer. This is done in Edit mode, from the Microsoft Office Add-In tab available when the root is selected. On the Install tab, choose to install the client software and follow the instructions in the dialogue boxes displayed. Then, on the Activate tab, you can choose to activate the web site as target for your Office publishing. It is possible to publish from Office to many different web sites. Choose the button Activate on each web site that is a target web site.
This should do it. (You'll probably have to restart Office as well.)
