Experiences and possible limits in an Enterprise setup of EPiServer?

Hello, We have a customer who has asked us if there is some sort of limit to how many sites you can have in an Enterprise setup of EPiServer? Is there an absolute limit to this or some sort of limit for when you start to experience that the site is acting slow? If someone here could be able to share some experiences around this I'd appreciate it. Best regards Martin

Anyone? We all know the license limitation, but would be great to hear som experience from huge-enterprise environments. :)
