Hi, I am not sure if they have upgraded the EPiServer Extension for Express but they release a new version that is compatible with vs2013 on Visualstudio gallery. You could try to download it again from this website or please report this as a bug. Sadly the extensions is not the same for express and the full version.

If it is only for test I would sugest you install the full vs and use the trial version since it is available for 90 days. Everything is working ok with that version.

I ran in to the same problem.

My solution was to uninstall VS 2013 Express for web and install VS 2012 Express for web.

Thank you Henrik! This one worked for VS 2013 Express for web.

Seems it is not a searchable download. How did you find it?

There is a link to it in the information about the plugin (http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/4ad95160-e72f-4355-b53e-0994d2958d3e).
