EPiServer 7.5 - update 35

Contains the preview projects feature in EPiServer CMS as well as bug fixes in CMS and core/framework.

The update is applicable to EPiServer 7.5 projects and contains finalized work items included in the latest iteration. The update is available for installation from the EPiServer NuGet feed. Continuous release updates are cumulative, meaning that the latest always includes previous updates. All platform updates are supported and we strongly recommend that you keep ongoing projects up to date.

Note that from update 6, EPiServer UI components have been converted to a standard NuGet package. The location of packages have changed and might affect you who is going from the first update to the latest update, refer to Changes to location of package contents when upgrading.

With this feature you can view and navigate a project with a set of pages and other content as if it was published. Use this to check that links work and all content items look as they should before publishing the project. Refer to update 31 for more information about the Projects feature in beta version.

About the core/framework features and bug fixes in this release

  • Prerequisite: To be able to perform this update, you need to upgrade to .NET Framework 4.5.
  • Federated Security (Beta)” support in EPiServer CMS to act as a claims aware application. Includes features such as Single-Sign-On (SSO) that allows a single-user authentication process across multiple IT systems or even organizations.
