Hi,

I am planning to use Mogul SEO Manager for SEO. I am using EPiServer CMS version 9 based on Azure Cloud.

Does Mogul SEO Manager supports Azure Cloud.

How can I implement SEO manager's SiteMap in MVC pattern?

How can I implement Robots.txt in Mogul SEO Manager?

Anyone's help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sanket Mahimkar.

Hi,

I installed SEO Manger nuget. For sitemap, I got a URL "www.example.com/MogulSEOManagerSitemap.aspx"

Normally sitemap URL looks like "www.example.com/sitemap.xml".

How can I make "www.example.com/MogulSEOManagerSitemap.aspx" to "www.example.com/sitemap.xml"?

Thanks & Regards,

Sanket Mahimkar

This is your best approach for managing robots.txt in Episerver: http://nuget.episerver.com/en/OtherPages/Package/?packageId=POSSIBLE.RobotsTxtHandler

Thanks David for your answer.

Actually I have developed Robot.txt handler.

My question is about sitemap in Mogul SEO manager, Mogul provides sitemap as "www.example.com/MogulSEOManagerSitemap.aspx".

How can I make "www.example.com/MogulSEOManagerSitemap.aspx" to "www.example.com/sitemap.xml"?

I seem to recall that I used to set it in Google webmaster tools to use that aspx. Is that enough solution for you?

And get in touch with Mogul Service desk if you got any other questions and they will help you out...

In google webmaster tools you have a menu item in left menu called crawl => sitemap =>click button for add sitemap.

Add the MogulSeoManagerSitemap.aspx there...

<p>Hi, you should also be able advertise the mogul sitemap url in robots.txt in "sitemap" element</p> <p></p> <p>https://developers.google.com/webmasters/control-crawl-index/docs/robots_txt</p> <p></p> <p>Quote:</p> <p></p> <h3>sitemap</h3> <p>Supported by Google, Ask, Bing, Yahoo; defined on&nbsp;<a href="http://sitemaps.org/">sitemaps.org</a>.</p> <p>Usage:</p> <pre>sitemap: [absoluteURL] </pre> <p>[absoluteURL] points to a Sitemap, Sitemap Index file or equivalent URL. The URL does not have to be on the same host as the robots.txt file. Multiple&nbsp;<code>sitemap</code>&nbsp;entries may exist. As non-group-member records, these are not tied to any specific user-agents and may be followed by all crawlers, provided it is not disallowed.</p>

Totally right @Janne Kuusela!

I was going to update documentation for SEO Manager with that but it actually already existed here
