I have a site configured with WindowsMembershipProvider. The machine is part of a Active Directory domain. Using this, I can log in just fine with users defined in Active Directory. Recently we connected two AD domains, with full trust between them. I cannot log in with users from this domain. I'm trying to avoid using the AD membership provider. Is it possible to get this to work?
I have seen what you describe work. WindowsMembershipProvider should accept whatever the machine accepts. Can you log onto the machine itself from the problematic domain?
