Looking for tutorials or developer guide for Epi,

http://joelabrahamsson.com/getting-started-with-episerver-cms-development/

Says: " Make especially sure that you read the Important Concepts part of it"

does anyone still have a copy of this?

You could check getting started and the developer guide.

In addition, John you should also look at these documentation for editor and administrators.

If you (or your company) are willing to pay the $2000, I can recommend a Developer Subscription with eLearning courses. Same concept as Pluralsight and others with videos, tests and downloadable PDFs.

Mark Price does a good job of guiding you through Episerver development step-by-step.

I personally find it easier to get an overview this way, and then use the CMS Developer Guide for deep dives into a topic.
