Hi Guys,

I have a strong C# background, but I am working on my first Episerver project so please excuess any thing silly I might say :-)

OK...

I am running episerver 10 we already have the site up and running but we want to add a new section to the site which will be the community part of the website and it has been sugessted we could use the Relate Add On.

My questions are:

  1. Can I actually use relate for an Epi Server 10 website? I found these installation instructions but they look like they are for a older version of episerver
https://world.episerver.com/documentation/Items/Installation-Instructions/Relate/Installation-instructions---Episerver-75-Relate/  - Can anyone point me to instructions of how to do this in episerver 10
  2. How popular is relate in the episerver commnity? Are there other alternatives that give you similar features to this add on?

Thanks in Advance

Ayo

The Episerver Relate product is being phased out and replaced by the Episerver Social product. See https://world.episerver.com/documentation/developer-guides/social/ and https://www.episerver.com/products/platform/episerver-social/.

Don't use Relate+/Community/Mail if it's not already there. If it's there consider the options carefully before adding features on top of Community.

On a side note I'm also interested in far up you can go with CMS with Relate+ still working?
